We at Innervated are about creating a new approach when it comes to manual therapy. So much so, that we challenge you to rethink MT (Manual or massage therapy). We are dedicated to providing outstanding bodywork by using a comprehensive approach of not only releasing tissue, but activating tissue as well.

A common misconception of manual work is that therapist ONLY massage/stretch to lengthen muscles and relieve pain. When really it's a combination of down regulation (release) and up regulation (activation) of the nervous system and tissue. You see, the body is a bunch of ropes and pully systems that are in a constant state of tug-of-war. It's called tensegrity.

Tensegrity- the characteristic property of a stable three-dimensional structure consisting of members under tension that are contiguous and members under compression that are not

Musculatures can become over active and need to be released, while others become inactive and need to be turned on. With this approach, we are better able to assess where your pain may be coming from and apply the proper treatment or strategy, even if that means sending you to the another health care provider. If we can't solve your issue through means of bodywork or corrective intervention, or it falls outside of our scope of practice, we may send you to our colleagues in different fields to work with you and get you back to 100%.
We just want you to feel better no matter what!

OUR reviews

Dylan and his team are the best in the business. If you are looking for more than your run of the mill massage therapist, Innervated Performance is the place to go in the Quad Cities. I have worked with Dylan after countless injuries and he always gets me feeling better in no time.

I’ve been getting treatment from Dylan for the last few months and I’ve got to say he is the best in the QC area! He has a great understanding of the anatomy and how to get to the route cause of your issues. He is always learning and working on his craft to enhance his treatments. I’ve never experienced a more thorough massage therapist. Innervated Performance is the only place to go for your massage therapy!

Booked an appointment with Diego based off reviews alone and have not been disappointed. Worked out a kinked neck my first visit and haven't had an issue since. Book the massage, you will not regret it.

The best massages I've ever received have been at Innervated Performance. And as a massage therapist myself, that's some high praise since I've received and given many massages in my lifetime. It's difficult to find MTs who are specific with their technique and also have the capability to use deep pressure, but the people here have found that masterful balance. The environment is geared towards muscular/structural healing and recovery, I really appreciate the water and tunes, and the therapists are great people. I was referred by some Palmer students who also love it, so if you're a student looking for a massage that's worth your money, (or someone like me with constant pain in need of relief) this is the place.

I had a dynamic massage with Diego, which was so helpful. I never felt like giving my therapist a high five after a massage but for some reason I did today. It was massage, stretching and cupping all working in concert to assist with functional mobility. I could definitely feel the difference when I walked out the door, thank you!

Being in the fitness industry as a competitor and enthusiast for over 15 years, I've seen a multitude of different injuries from friends and fellow athletes. My purpose in manual work is to keep the people around me the healthiest they can be through manual therapy and corrective intervention. As well as educate my clientele so they can perform at their best and for as long as possible.

My goal as a therapist is simple: I want to create a safe space for my clients to decompress, use soft tissue manipulation to best aid in recovery, and empower my clients to not let pain derail their lives. I use a neuromuscular approach in my massage technique. I am certified in Functional Range Conditioning in order to build strong and resilient joints. I've been in the fitness community for the past 10 years, as well as an avid disc golfer for the past 5 years, which has allowed me to gain an understanding on movement patterns in the gym as well as out of the field.
